DHX - Breaking Alert

1/20/2023

To Customers, Vendors, and Associates:

Many emailed documents and some emails without attachments out of DHX's automated system contain the system vendor-embedded website address.

We have traced the issue back to Thursday, January 12, 2023, and following, that embedded website address is shown to contain malicious code or to be otherwise suspicious. Please note this is not a threat to your email or related systems.

When these emails are sent, receiving email platforms are either:

(1) marking the email as spam and moving them to the spam folder,

(2) placing in quarantine for further review and release, or

(3) being rejected

For many, most of these were going to their Spam folders and, once reported to us and advised, were able to find them in Spam.

We believe the following email types were affected:

      Arrival Notices

      Booking Confirmations

      BOLs

      Invoices

      Pickup Alerts

      Preliminary Invoices

      Quotes

      Statements

Status Notifications (an email with no attachment)

Of these, the following are fixed, and we've resent them for the past week:

      Arrival Notices

      Invoices

Customer Statements are fixed and are being sent separately by our Collections Department, wherever necessary.

We have a larger fix for everything else that is being tested and expected to be in place by the end of the day today, Friday, January 20, 2023. Once in place, we plan to send 1 Status Notification of the last/best status for any shipment for those notifications sent in the last week.

The following items that were affected are time-sensitive and/or have been addressed through other means, so we will not be resending the following:

      Booking Confirmation

      BOLs

      Pickup Alerts

      Preliminary Invoices

      Quotes

We apologize for duplication notices you may receive during this period and any inconvenience this may have caused. Please note this is not affecting the movement or handling of your shipments - it is just the emailed communications concerning the shipments.

Should you have additional questions, please contact your local office, Account Executive, or our Corporate Customer Service Center at 800-488-4888, Ext. 2020, or email us at [email protected].

Thank you for your patience and your business- we appreciate it!
