Subject:  Hilo Port Closure

Dear Valued Customer,

We have been advised by Young Brothers that they have temporarily closed operations at the Port of Hilo until further notice due to an issue they found with the fire suppression system.

Young Brothers is currently coordinating with the State Department of Transportation Harbors Division and the United States Coast Guard to swiftly implement temporary mitigation measures, complete emergency repairs, and expedite the resumption of cargo acceptance and availability as soon as possible.
